AW: Day Two - Transfigurations.

Lesson Two. Four essays--totally rocked the first essay about the importance of Class-A Transfigurative Spells. Class-A Transfigurative Spells include four of the most common, mediatory spells in Transfigurations. Avifors, Draconifors, Fera Verta, and Snufflifors. Having the foundation of transfiguration: object-object, object-animal, animal-object, witches and wizards can venture to do greater things with transfiguration. Understanding these mediatory spells and how they fit and are not exempt from Gamp's Laws, can help us understand transfigurative magic in a way that frees us from limitations.

Avifors turns objects into birds.
Draconifors gives "life" to dragon statues.
Fera Verta turns animals into objects.
Snufflifors turns books into mice to serve one action or purpose before the spell ends.

We're going to delve deeper into Dragonifors tomorrow. I think it'd be rather cool to give "life" to dragon statues and have them to my bidding. It's almost like having a pet dragon.

Day 2 at Hogwarts

Transfiguration today was quite a short class. Reviewed over Gamp's Law, and then learned about Class-A Transfiguration spells. Had to do a short paper, in which I don't think was quite detailed as I could have made it.

Gah!! I don't know how I'm going to do the remaining 3 papers for this lesson..

On a side note, the dorm leader is a bit on the nerdy side. She's always reading extra books and studying more than others. Guess that's why she's the point leader for Hufflepuff.

AW: Day One - Transfigurations.

Transfigurations.

It's all about Gamp's Laws today. Quick overview, and a quiz. Not sure I was prepared for it, but got 5/5. Had to do the opinion essay, and I don't think I understand the prompt enough to write something coherent. This is the problem with taking classes online. There's no way to contact the professor, and I don't think I'm creative enough to do research and write proper essays for these things.

I do things much better in the classroom, with a wand, and something to blow up.

sigh.

Day 1 at Hogwarts

So I just took my first class at Hogwarts and it was Transfiguration. We went over Gamp's Laws and it was a pretty interesting topic to discuss. Took a quiz and ended up with a 4/5. Darn that one question!! After the quiz, it was time to write an essay in regards to Gamp's Laws. That was definitely an interesting paper for me to write cause I had a fun time discussing the topics.
